MASTER OF VISUAL ART (ART HISTORY) is offered by Department of Arts History and Aesthetics

1. Applicants seeking admission for M.V.A in Art History and Aesthetics Program require BVA/ BA/ BE Arch in Languages,Humanities Degree  and Architecture either from this University or similar qualification from an institution recognized by The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, as a full time student.

 Please Note: Those who are waiting to appear for the final year exam (BVA/BFA/BA) due to current Covid-19  situation can also apply provisionally.

2. Candidates with Diploma are not eligible for MVA Program.

3. After completing the ONLINE Application Process candidates should Download and PRINT the Application form, duly signed and send it to the address given below along with the following Documents:

1. SAMPLE OF YOUR WRITING [IN ENGLISH].
2. A short statement of approximately 300 words about the areas of interest.

   (c)  Self-Attested Photo copies:
    i.    10th mark sheet and passing certificate/Credit Certificate.
    ii.   12th mark sheet and passing certificate/Credit Certificate.
    iii. School Leaving Certificate.
    iv. Attempt Certificate (if any).
    v.   BVA Mark-sheet/ Certificate (if results are awaited then a letter from the Head of Institution stating that the Candidate has appeared for BVA Final exam)
    vi.  Caste Certificate (only for Gujarat – Reserved category)
    vii. Migration Certificate (if applicable)
   viii. Certificate of last appearing examination if other than above
    ix.  Aadhaar Card.

4.     Please note a short listing of outside Gujarat candidates will be done on the basis of  the SAMPLE OF YOUR WRITING [IN ENGLISH]   and the Statement (hard copy/pdf) sent. Shortlisted candidates will be notified by E-mail. Only short-listed candidates will be called for and personal Interview.

5.    Candidates must carry a portfolio of original works and original certificates at the time of the Personal    

       Interview (if short listed).
