The 5-Year Integrated M.Sc. in Data Science program at The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda is a future-focused program offered by Department of Statistics.

This program is designed to prepare students for careers in Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Engineering, Analytics, Machine Learning, and emerging computational technologies. The programme combines strong foundations in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, and Data Engineering with hands-on learning through laboratories, projects, internships, and research.

Students can choose specialization tracks from 7th semester from Artificial Intelligence, Big Data & Data Engineering, or Analytics & Business Intelligence, making the programme highly aligned with modern industry and research demands

Admission Process:

Student desirous of admission to this program is required to submit online application of GCAS portal (https://gcas.gujgov.edu.in/) and also register for the Entrance examination on the admission portal of the University. Link for the same is given below.

Eligibility criteria:

A candidate who has successfully completed HSC from any stream with Mathematics as one of the subjects from a recognized examination body with minimum 50% aggregate marks. Moreover, the candidate must  have studied English as one of the subjects in HSC or should have studied HSC in English medium.
Intake capacity: 60 (including 10 special seats) Supernumerary seats are available as per Govt of Gujarat and MSU rules.
Duration of Program: 5 years (10 Semesters)
Mode of Admission: Admission Through GCAS portal Entrance Examination through and MSUB Portal.
