About IQAC

Internal Quality Assurance Cell at The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda was established in the year 2007

OBJECTIVES OF IQAC:

To act as a nodal agency of the Institution for coordinating quality-enhancement activities, including adoption and dissemination of best practices
To develop and apply standards andbenchmarks for various academic and administrative activities of the institution
To ensure redressal ofthe interest of all stakeholders in higher education

FUNCTIONS OF IQAC:

To disseminate information on various quality parameters of higher education
To document various programmes/activities leading to quality improvement
To adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process
To facilitate the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty matureness
To arrange for feedback response from students, parents and other stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes
To organize inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promote quality enhancement on walks of life
To develop and maintain institutional database through MIS for the purpose of maintaining /enhancing the institutional quality
To document Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per guidelines and parameters of NAAC, to be submittedto NAAC
